- egress™ products
Viator Network's Egress™ products are, as we define them, transport agnostic. This means our products work with a broad range of industry-standard networks including Ethernet, cable, DSL and wireless (802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g) and with brand name hardware from respected companies such as Dell, Hewlett-Packard, Cisco, 3Com, Apple, Proxim, Linksys, SMC and Pairlink. You can use our Egress™ Ports separately from our Egress™ Server and vice-versa. This provides you the one thing missing from competing solutions: a choice.
For the property owner, the choices include using business-class cable, satellite or DSL high-speed Internet connections as an alternative to dedicated T1s. You can decide whether to reduce the number of trunk lines into your property and dedicate no-longer profitable telephone lines to high-speed data through you PBX. You can integrate with your PMS, or not. You can use our free portal or design and implement your own. You have the freedom to implement what works best for you and within your budget.
If you're a service provider, you can set different pricing for different levels of service using a broad range of criteria. You can offer wireless-based services and control it from a central location. Using our new PDA management tool, you can control the entire system from anywhere with handheld or wireless tools. You can generate reports at any time on important issues such as uptime, bandwidth use, and system utilization.
