egress™ software - trial cdrom

Viator Networks offers a 30-day trial version of its popular Egress™ Server, which allows property owners and service providers to demonstrate or simply try the product. It is a fully functional version of the product that times out after 30-days.

Note: Support for trial versions is limited to e-mail only. Telephone support is available for $35 per incident. The software will not run properly unless a license key is provided. License codes are available only through registration of the demo software.

Each CD includes on-line documentation and a PDF version of the user manual. Instructions for installing the software and accessing the manuals are included. Access to a working Internet connection is required proper operation. Installation on a new system takes less than 30 minutes and an existing Linux distribution is not required.

Features

The Trial version includes all of the features of the full version of the product. All features are fully functional and include:

  • Full billing capabilities, include credit card and PMS integration
  • Bill by hour, day, week, bandwidth, location, connection type, and more
  • Plug-and-Play client connectivity
  • Free portal and "walled garden"
  • Support for static and dynamically assigned static IP addresses

Hardware Requirements

Below are the minimum hardware configurations for every system on which you install the Egress™ Server software:

  • Genuine Intel Pentium III Processor or better
  • 128 MB RAM or more
  • Two Intel Ether Express 10/100 LAN cards
  • one 20GB IDE or SCSI hard drive or greater
  • CD-ROM drive
  • Floppy disk drive
  • Server-class motherboard

Please note that Viator Networks does NOT support or warrant its products on hardware that does not meet those prescribed. Please be certain to ascertain the features of your hardware prior to ordering the product or contacting technical support.

This trial (Not For Resale) version of our Egress™ Server v4.0 is fully functional. It works for 30 days and then ceases to run unless a full-license code is provided. Thus providing you sufficient time to "kick the tires."

Trial versions are for lab testing only. Commercial deployment or use for long-term demonstration purposes requires payment of full license fees.
